Copyright and license
Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International
Everything published on 2timothy2.org is free for you to use, share, and adapt, including in your church, classroom, or small group, and for commercial purposes.
Who owns the materials
The authors do. Each person who posts here keeps the copyright to their own work. 2timothy2.org does not own anything its contributors publish.
The license
Authors share their published materials under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license (CC BY 4.0). That means you may:
- Share: copy and redistribute the material in any format.
- Adapt: remix, translate, shorten, or build on it.
The one condition is that you give credit.
How to give credit
Name the author and 2timothy2.org, and link back to the item. Every page and document shows a ready-made credit line you can copy, like this:
'Title' by Author, via 2timothy2.org (link to the item). Licensed under CC BY 4.0.
If you changed the material, say so (for example, "adapted from…").
Quoted material
Some materials quote other sources, including Scripture from copyrighted translations such as the NIV. Those quotations stay under their own publishers' terms, and the CC BY 4.0 license doesn't change that. If you reuse them, follow the publisher's permissions.
Questions
If you aren't sure whether your use is covered, contact the author or the site administrator.
